Workplace Wellbeing

As an employer, you hold the key to preventative healthcare. The epidemic of chronic physical and mental illness is preventable and treatable through the cheapest and most basic elements of life: good food, movement, sleep, community and relaxation. Yet the population is struggling in the face of societal pressure to over consume, and employers are paying the price.

Identifying that its about metabolic health, reframes the problem in a practical and actionable way. Supporting individuals to explore their hopes and what matters to them most through coaching, helps facilitate behaviour change.

As a company you control your employees’ physical and food environment for much of their day, your vision and work culture will determine how easy they will find it to maintain healthy behaviours. A healthy workforce is nurtured over time through tiny habits and simple nudges. We want to support you to help your staff thrive and in the process help yourself, your families, and your bottom line!

We have developed a programme to measure, explain and improve metabolic health through a comprehensive 6-week course with coaching support. Click here to explore how it works.

The Cost of Poor Health

Absenteeism cost the UK £212 billion in 2025. Sick days rose from 7.8 days/employee in 2023 to 9.4 days/employee in 2024. Deloitte found 74% employees were more concerned with improving their wellbeing than progressing their career and, half of working parents felt that concerns about their children’s mental health had impacted their performance at work. Yet investment in workplace wellbeing has a five-fold return.

Why Metabolic Health?

The metabolism is all the biological and chemical reactions that power our bodies and minds. Fewer than 1 in 5 adults has perfect metabolic health, with many going on to develop chronic diseases. This impacts engagement, productivity and attrition and hinders collaboration and strong working relationships.

Yet simple diet and lifestyle changes can deliver profound improvements in health and wellbeing very quickly.
